Students attend school 180 days per year. To ensure that solid reading, writing and math skills are mastered, Indiana students are required to pass the Graduation Qualifying Exam, or GQE, to receive a high school diploma.
A wide-range of higher education resources -- including world-class graduate and professional schools, and a broad-spectrum of undergraduate programs -- are located just a short drive from Jackson County, Indiana.
In addition, the Workforce Partnership program of Jackson County has become the model by which other area workforce programs are being built. Our Partnership program is the cornerstone for the collaboration of our educational systems and our businesses and industries in their efforts to increase the skills of the current workforce, and to better prepare our students to enter the workforce.
