Job Title: Engineering
Assistant
Job Description: Involved in
the engineering development, design,
construction and implementation of tools,
machines and equipment utilized in the
production of company products at the most
economical costs. Develops manual or computer
aided design conceptual and detailed tool
drawings for tools, gages, fixtures, etc.
Develops cost estimates and submits for
approval. Conducts studies to improve existing
tooling which will effect economics in the
production and processing of products. Provides
engineering assistance to tool room and
manufacturing involving tools and equipment.
Reviews new product designs for applicability,
standardization and simplification with respect
to plant manufacturing processes. Assisting
Engineering Manager with quoting/estimating for
CNC Machining, new product implementation, and
fixture and process design.
